"I am starting a new challenge and I am going to give it my all. It was time to come back, to show what I am made of and to shut everyone's mouth," said Diego Chávez to Best Cable.
'Chaveta' wants to make up for lost time. "I was six months without playing and returning to professional football is a great joy for me. I have come to a serious club and I want to contribute and support to get promoted to first division," he added.
Diego Chávez was asked about the photo that Edison Flores posted on his Instagram account, recalling the title that Universitario de Deportes won in 2013. "It is a nice memory, but it is in the past. I am starting a new path," he said.
This Sunday, Unión Huaral will visit Santa Rosa in Abancay, for the fourth round of the Second Division tournament. The 'Pelicano' is one of the leaders of the promotion competition with 7 points.
