Estudiantes professional team rests and prepares for crucial match against Real Garcilaso
The Estudiantes professional team will have a day off today and will only start preparing for the crucial match against Real Garcilaso in Cuzco tomorrow. Yesterday, only those players who were not starters against Santos trained, while Jonatan Schunke and Facundo Sánchez decided to stay and do some regenerative work.
Yesterday, during a 50-minute practice session, the coaching staff divided the players into two teams for a small-sided game: on one side were Estéfano Francesconi, Jacob Murillo, Fernando Zuqui, Cristian Alemán, Matías Ruiz Díaz, Fabián Noguera, Pablo Lugüercio, and Bautista Cejas, while on the other side were Daniel Sappa, Nicolás Bazzana, Juan Cascini, Gastón Gimenez, Matías Laba, Carlo Lattanzio, Nicolás Talpone, and Mariano Pavone.
Bernardi won't have much time to work in City Bell, as the delegation will depart for Lima on Sunday afternoon. Once in the capital of Peru, they will spend the night at the Hilton hotel and on Monday, they will train in the facilities of the Peruvian Football Federation in the morning and then travel to Cuzco in the evening, where they will stay at a hotel of the same chain.
