Carlos Moreno, administrator of Universitario, surprised everyone by stating that Sebastian Abreu, currently playing for Audax Italiano in Chile, had a chance of joining if everything goes well with TAS.

He added: "Abreu has a contract with a Chilean club and here the transfer window opens in August."

On the other hand, the administrator of Universitario commented on Pedro Troglio's continuity. The coach is the main candidate to take over the coaching position at Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata.

"Based on our conversations with Pedro and his coaching staff, they are happy at 'U'. But obviously not with the sporting results. You all know that Pedro (Troglio) is a reference at Gimnasia and every time a coach leaves, he is always a candidate," he concluded.
