It will be a significant blow for Alianza Lima. Luis Ramírez got injured in the match against Junior for the Copa Libertadores and did not finish the game. Therefore, he was replaced in the second half. As a result, Pablo Bengoechea had to get creative to rebuild his team. But in the end, it did not yield results.
Hours after the defeat against Junior, 'Cachito' Ramírez used his social media to confirm that he will be away from the field for a while, due to the injury he suffered during the Copa Libertadores match.
According to Alianza Lima's medical department, Ramírez fractured his fifth metatarsal. His recovery will take around three months (July). This situation adds to the injury of Gonzalo Godoy, who also did not finish the match against Junior.
