Carlos Aparicio to be the new coach of the Peruvian volleyball team
Coach Carlos Aparicio posted a message on his Twitter account confirming the information we shared a few days ago, mentioning that he was going to be the chosen one by the FPV board to be the new coach of the Peruvian volleyball team.
"On Friday, around 10:30, I carried you on my shoulders (to the Purple Christ). I begged you to decide for me. On Monday, at 10:30, they called me to communicate your decision. Now I ask you to give me the wisdom to bring joy to your people again. Thank you Lord of Miracles," reads professor Aparicio's tweet.
We had announced it
Carlos Aparicio Saldaña is a strong candidate to become the new coach of the Peruvian volleyball team, senior category. The current coach of Alianza Lima would seal his link with the Peruvian Volleyball Federation (FPV) in the coming days.
As it has been announced, the FPV, temporarily led by Carmen Gonzales López, has decided to stop counting on the services of the Brazilian Luizomar de Moura, who was the world champion with the youth and junior teams of his country and had been coaching the national team since January last year.
When Luizomar de Moura was presented they said he would stay until 2020.
The reason for the dismissal would be the considerable salary that De Moura receives and that the current board is not willing to continue assuming. That was when they began to look for possible replacements, and Carlos Aparicio is the one with the best chances of leading the national team.
According to our sources from the FPV, Natalia Málaga would be part of Carlos Aparicio's coaching staff, who would return to leading the team after a long time.
