The Argentine defender Víctor Aguilera is ruled out for Tuesday's match against Tauro but could be ready for the weekend when America hosts León in Matchday 11 of the Clausura 2018 Tournament in Liga MX.
"Aguilera had told us that it was like a spasm, an edema that he had, and hopefully it won't go beyond this week, but he won't be available for tomorrow," he said.
For Tuesday's match against Tauro, there will be some changes in the starting eleven. The Argentine Agustín Marchesín will be in goal, while Paul Aguilar, Edson Álvarez, the Paraguayan Bruno Valdez, and Carlos Vargas will be in defense.
Argentine Guido Rodríguez and Joe Corona in midfield, with Brazilian William da Silva and Colombian Carlos Ibargüen as wingers, while up front it will be the Colombian Carlos Quintero and Henry Martin.
He expressed that these modifications are made due to the workload they have had in recent weeks and because they have a squad of players who can respond when needed.
"That's why we rotate because they play two or three times a week. We assemble a team for that, to alternate players who can give us other possibilities. The match on Saturday was demanding, and now that they are more tired, give them rest, take them to the bench, and be aware that if they are needed, they will be there," he said.
Similarly, he ruled out that any of the formations he uses can be considered as a "B team, they are all starters and I put them for a reason."
