Alliance Lima will collide this Wednesday against Colo Colo from Chile at the Monumental Stadium in Santiago in the so-called 'Noche Alba'. The friendly match, in addition to serving as preparation, reminds that there is a history of brotherhood between both clubs.

On December 8, 1987, an air tragedy occurred that marked the history of Peruvian and world football. The successful Fokker F-27 charter plane of the intimate team crashed and 43 people died (16 players, five members of the coaching staff, four leaders, eight supporters, three referees, and seven crew members). The Chilean team was one of the clubs that immediately gave a helping hand.

Colo Colo loaned four players: goalkeeper José Letelier, defender Parco Quiroz, midfielder Francisco Huerta, and forward René Pinto, who joined the ranks of Alliance. Additionally, one month later, they visited Lima to play a friendly match at Matute.

This is an action that Alliance Lima never forgot. In fact, the white and blue team created a mural very close to their stadium with the emblems of the Peruvian and Chilean team and the legend "One heart".

Today, before the friendly match, the gestures don't stop. Colo Colo created a book recalling the anecdotes and most important moments between both teams. The material was delivered to Leao Butrón and Miguel Araujo, players of Alliance Lima.
