It was the 73rd minute of the match. Hertha Berlin was leading 2-0 when something strange happened. Norwegian goalkeeper Rune Almenning Jarstein caught the ball with his hands after a back pass from a teammate. The referee awarded an indirect free kick.
The ball was placed very close to the goal line. And the unexpected happened. The entire Hertha Berlin team positioned themselves under the goal. The players from Bayer Leverkusen did not protest and took the indirect free kick.
