Peruvian National Team: Khimki Arena stadium welcomed the 'bicolor' for the Russia 2018 World Cup [VIDEO]

Ricardo Gareca's team will use Moscow as their operational base for the World Cup.

The Peruvian National Team has a home. And it will make its homeland in Moscow, which will be used as the base of operations for the 2018 Russia World Cup. The team coached by Ricardo Gareca will also train at the Khimki Arena, which welcomed them through its social media channels.

After FIFA published the list of where the teams participating in the World Cup will be staying and training, the Khimki Arena welcomed the Peruvian National Team.

"The Peru team was one of the last to qualify for the World Cup (32nd place), and this happened after 36 years. For the moment, the Peruvians are in 11th place in the FIFA ranking. Peru is led by the Argentine Ricardo Gareca, who has been heading the team since 2015. The main star of the Peruvians is known by Russian football fans, Jefferson Farfán, the forward for the Moscow locomotive," wrote the Khimki Arena on its website to introduce Peru.

Khimki Arena is a stadium located on the outskirts of Moscow, with a capacity for over 18,000 spectators. It was inaugurated on September 20, 2008. Currently, Dynamo Moscow uses it as its home stadium.
