President of the Peruvian Volleyball Federation (FPV), Diana Gonzales, has been disqualified for 5 years by the Superior Council of Justice. Now, the presidency of the governing body of the 'high net sport' would fall on the current vice president.
She was dismissed
The court that administers justice in sports matters of the Peruvian Sports Institute (IPD) determined that Diana Gonzales did not meet the requirements to be the president of a Sports Federation. The punishment would be severe; she will have to be away from sports matters for a long time.
'We always had Luizomar De Moura in sight, bringing him in was a beautiful process. The rhythm they are following, the fact of changing the mentality, of being much more professional, is vital. I believe that he has injected a very important quota and the girls have been able to capture it. I have been in training sessions and I return home with the illusion and the confidence that things are being done well for the main objective, which is Tokyo 2020,' said Diana Gonzales a few months ago when she was the head of the FPV.
