Alianza Lima started stretching their legs and preparing for the first exams of 2018. On Saturday, the team played friendly matches against two amateur teams and celebrated impressive victories.
The teams that tried to stop the power of Alianza Lima were the Chincha national team and the Deportivo Municipal de Ica. Alianza Lima defeated the first team by 4-0 and the second team by 3-0.

The first thing that became clear in both matches is that Pablo Bengoechea worked very well on set pieces. In fact, most of the goals came from headers after a corner kick or a free kick in their favor.
Furthermore, the matches served as an opportunity to see the new signings of Alianza Lima in action, and they did not disappoint. Mario Velarde, for example, made a great play that almost ended in a fantastic goal.
