If there was a rumor about a possible arrival to Alianza Lima, Adrián Zela ended up renewing with Deportivo Municipal for the entire 2018 season, even though the 'edil' team did not qualify for any international tournament.
The national defender knows that if he wants to be called up for the Peruvian National Team, he has to play and he will do so in the Chino Rivera's team.
This week Adrián Zela spoke with Depor about his continuity in Deportivo Municipal and expressed not only his desire to continue in the team, but also to become champion.
"Loyalty to Deportivo Municipal always existed. I told them that they would have priority with me. I trust 'Muni' a lot and the team they are building this year," he said.
"I have a personal goal: to win the championship with them [...] The biggest goal I have is to go to Russia," he added.
