Melgar
Melgar could not repeat a glorious campaign in the current season. He came close to winning the Torneo Clausura, which Alianza Lima ultimately won and thus became national champion.
For that reason, the Arequipeña leadership is looking to strengthen Melgar's offense with a goalscorer who knows the Peruvian league. The striker who is in their plans is Cristian Bogado.
The Paraguayan striker acknowledged that Melgar has him in mind for the 2018 season. Cristian Bogado is excited to join the characato team and compete for the Peruvian championship.
"I am in the coach's plans. They asked for my phone number because they wanted to talk to me. Perhaps this week they will get in touch," said Cristian Bogado in an interview with "Diario Los Andes".
"Since 2014 I have been following them and they always fight for the top, that appeals to me a lot. Every player wants to play in an international cup," he added.
Cristian Bogado was the top foreign scorer in the 2017 Torneo Descentralizado. He reached a total of 20 goals wearing the Unión Comercio shirt, a team that fought to maintain their category.
