Medical arguments to validate the FIFA suspension of Paolo Guerrero
Although the FIFA suspension of one of the best players of the Peruvian National Team, Paolo Guerrero, has outraged many fans, there are medical arguments that validate the decision.
To understand this, we spoke with sports doctor Julio Grados. He explained that the body of 'Depredador' contains benzocaine. This is a substance derived from cocaine, considered prohibited by the World Anti-Doping Association. That is why, according to Grados, it would be impossible for Guerrero to pass the drug test.
However, at the end of the note, Dr. Grados indicated that despite everything, he is against blaming Paolo, since the player belongs to a top-level club, is part of the National Team, and is one of the architects of the qualification for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
