Raul Ruidiaz's father was the victim of a shooting
Raul Ruidiaz Chuica, father of the national team's selected player Raul Ruidiaz, who led Peru to the 2018 World Cup on Wednesday, confirmed that he was the victim of a shooting in the San Juan de Miraflores district.
"If one was truly doing things wrong, which is not the case, they would harm you. We had a meeting with them to see what was going on. Nobody is being denied their payment, the issue is that they are holding onto some checks (in the company)," he said.
This morning, the Trome newspaper reported on the attack that occurred on the 12th block of Cesar Canevaro Avenue, in front of the condominium where Raul Ruidiaz Chuica lives. A man shot at him twice and fled on a mototaxi with his accomplice. The father of the football player was not injured in the attack.
The case is being investigated at the Criminal Investigation Directorate (Dirincri) on Av. España, confirmed a police source to El Comercio.
This is the second time that Raul Ruidiaz Chuica has been involved in a shooting. In 2011, he was shot in the shoulder after being attacked by a group of strangers at kilometer 64 of the Panamericana Sur.
