Peru prepares its lineup for the match against New Zealand
A day before Peru faces New Zealand in Wellington, Ricardo Gareca tested what would be his starting eleven. In fact, the 'Tiger' would not make many changes, as he has done throughout the Eliminations, but everything indicates that he would prepare two novelties, due to the demands of the match.
It has been revealed that Gareca would line up with Luis Advíncula on the right wing, replacing Aldo Corzo, who had been getting minutes as a starter in the Eliminations.
"The coach does not give the team. He always wants to play. But we have to respect the moment of our teammates," Advíncula said to the Peruvian media regarding his possible starting position.
In that sense, the full-back downplayed the strong wind that hits Wellington. Of course, according to him, Peruvian players are used to playing in different climates.
On the other hand, with the absence of Paolo Guerrero, Jefferson Farfán is poised as the sole striker in the attack. The 'Foca' is going through a good moment and sees all the goals.
