The Peruvian National Team continues training in Auckland for the World Cup playoff against New Zealand

The Peruvian National Team completed their third day of training in Auckland, preparing for the first leg of the World Cup playoff against New Zealand. Led by Ricardo Gareca, the team had their last training session in Auckland before traveling to Wellington, where the match will take place.

With the squad complete and acclimated to the local time zone, the team planned to work on tactical movements with the starting eleven against the All Whites. The goalkeepers will also continue to adapt to the strong wind in the city, similar to the conditions in Wellington.

"Jefferson Farfan and Raul Ruidiaz may play together against New Zealand."

As they have done throughout their stay in Auckland, the Peruvian National Team started the day with a body activation workout in the gym to arrive at the afternoon training session with light bodies. The focus of the session was on coordinating defensive and offensive movements to neutralize and harm the local team.

One of the most notable aspects of the Peruvian National Team's practice is the support and encouragement from fitness coach Nestor Bonillo during the warm-up exercises. From the beginning, the Argentine constantly motivates the players to not give anything away and to have a perfect training session.
