Two goals that promise more

Melgar took the lead in the score with a 2-0 victory over Universitario de Deportes, thanks to two goals by Patricio Arce. The midfielder from the Arequipa team scored a penalty in the first half and later struck again from outside the area with a fantastic goal.

With the score in their favor, Melgar pushed forward more against Fernández, who had replaced the injured Carlos Cáceda. The second goal of the match (37') was once again scored by 'Pato' Arce, who received a pass from the left side and unleashed an unstoppable shot for 'Superman'.
