Defender of Alianza Lima was forced to leave the match against Sport Huancayo just 27 minutes into the game after a play in the area left him injured. The Peruvian National Team awaits the medical report for the playoff against New Zealand.

'La Fiera' is the only player called up from Alianza Lima for the matches between Peru and the All Whites for a spot in the 2018 World Cup. The first leg in Wellington will be played on November 10th and the return leg on the 15th of the same month in Lima.
