First Division of Futsal enters its final stretch
The First Division of Futsal enters its final stretch. The top four teams in the championship will define the 2017 champion. This Friday from 7:00 p.m. at the La Videna Coliseum, the semifinals of the tournament will take place.
First of May showed throughout the season that they were the most consistent team. The defending champion won the Clausura and now they will have to defend their crown in this final stretch, where they will face the always tough AFA Rímac. The team from Cercado de Lima defeated the celestial team in the last match by 2-1 and hopes to repeat the feat in the semifinals.
If they achieve the coveted title, First of May will win their third consecutive trophy. A clear example of the good work that the directors have been doing for some years. In addition, they have a squad with talented players like Jorge Aguilar, Jordy Rivera, Samuel Angulo, and Xavier Tavera.
The other matchup will be defined by Panta - Walon with the University of Sciences and Humanities. The team from Callao had a start to the year with many doubts. In fact, they did not show up for the first match. However, in this last round, they showed that the problems were left behind and will give their all to win the cup.
But in order to do so, they will have to defeat the fierce UCH, who once again proved that they are willing to make an impact and seize the glory.
The final of the First Division will take place on Monday, October 30th at 8:30 p.m. The third-place match will be at 7:00 p.m. This final stretch will be broadcast live by Gol Peru, who decided to bet on Peruvian futsal.
