Everything has its end. Sportivo Huracán said goodbye to the dream of winning the Copa Perú title after losing 2-0 against Alfonso Ugarte from Puno at the Melgar stadium in the sixth match of the first phase of the tournament.
'Verdolagas' fought as much as they could, but the team from Puno managed to score the goals that gave them an important victory in Arequipa.
MATCH. Just as everyone was settling in their seats, a free kick was taken advantage of by Wilder Torres who scored in the first minute of the game, putting the highlanders in the lead.
The confusion in Huracán persisted, so there was a delayed reaction. Anthony Rodríguez and Chirinos were the ones who caused the most concern.
The second half was the same, and after 10 minutes Gonzalo Guadalupe sealed the match with the 2-0. The response from the 'Verdolaga' was minimal and in the end, the La Pampilla team was eliminated from the Copa.
