Carlos Zambrano starred in different news amidst the celebration for the Peruvian national team's victory over Bolivia by 2-1. The national central defender left Rubin Kazan in Russia to sign with PAOK Thessaloniki in Greece. This way, he will seek new opportunities in Europe.
Before the club made it official, the player's representative, Elio Casareto, published a photograph on Twitter showing them both wearing the PAOK shirt with the institution's logo in the background. Minutes later, the institution published it on their social media.
"Officially a PAOK Thessaloniki player. Thank you Carlos Zambrano for your trust and above all for your friendship! PAOK FC here we go!" wrote Casareto to announce the new direction Carlos Zambrano will take in his professional career.
