André Carrillo is now a Watford player
As reported by The Telegraph, André Carrillo has officially become a player of Watford. The news was published on their digital version on Friday.
As you may recall, it was known for several days that Marco Silva, the coach of the Premier League team, intended to have the Peruvian forward, whom he previously coached at Sporting Lisbon.
"I only talk about players when they sign with us. At this moment, André Carrillo is a player of Benfica, so I'm not going to speak about him. Now, if you ask me if I know him, of course I do. I worked with him at Sporting," said the coach in a press conference a few days ago. However, everything now indicates that Carrillo's transfer to The Hornets is a done deal.
According to The Telegraph, Watford has paid 1.7 million dollars for the loan of the Peruvian national team player. And if they wish to acquire him, they will have to pay 15 million euros to Benfica at the end of the season.
