About Renzo Garcés and Fernando Pacheco

Aware that football will not last forever, Renzo Garcés and Fernando Pacheco, a defender and a forward for Sporting Cristal respectively, have started studying English at Agref, the institution that represents them in the world of football.

A photograph shared on social media shows the Sporting Cristal footballers studying together with Enmanuel Páucar, a midfielder for Universitario de Deportes. Both 'cerveceros' went to the Agref offices to receive lessons after training in La Florida.

Renzo Garcés and Fernando Pacheco make use of their free time to study languages because they know that the opportunity to play abroad can come at any time and they want to be prepared for it. Their intention is not only to grow professionally but also personally. Complementing football with a career is something that motivates the footballers.
