The strong fall of Leao Butrón

The strong fall Leao Butrón caused concern in Alianza Lima. Despite his desire to continue in the match, the goalkeeper had to leave the field at Matute stadium due to severe pain, after 20 minutes.

Once off the field, the goalkeeper was attended again by the medical staff. To determine the severity of the injury, he was taken to a local clinic for a series of exams, as reported by Gol Perú.

Leao Butrón suffered the worst part of the collision with Sport Huancayo forward Carlos Preciado in the dispute over a ball. He lost his balance and fell forward with his neck and head.

Alianza Lima went into halftime with a 2-0 lead over Sport Huancayo. The goals for the white and blue team were scored by Germán Pacheco and Luis Aguiar in the first 20 minutes of the afternoon.

Alianza Lima needs the three points to reach Real Garcilaso at the top of the Apertura table. The goal is the same for the 'Rojo Matador' who will seek to come back in the second half.
