Viernes 14 de Julio del 2017

The team of Universitario de Deportes moves to Huaraz by sleeper bus. The trip takes between 7 to 8 hours.

A Long Bus Journey to Huaraz

Before traveling to Huaraz, the Universitario de Deportes team trained at the Monumental. Pedro Troglio wanted to fine-tune some details of the starting lineup that will face Sport Rosario. After that, the team began its long bus journey to the Peruvian Switzerland.

The players left at 11:00 in the morning. A company with sleeper buses was chosen so that the players could rest without any problems during the 8-hour journey to Huaraz. Some players took advantage of the time to relax, listen to music, read, and play Ludo, as can be seen on Instagram.

The idea is for Universitario de Deportes to arrive in Huaraz between 7 and 8 pm to have a technical talk and also watch a video to analyze the opponent.

The 'U' did not travel by plane because the only airline operates flights only on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and traveling on the same day as the match (Saturday) carries the risk of not arriving on time due to bad weather.
