Alianza Lima seeks a new forward

It is clear that the leadership of Alianza Lima is still working towards signing a forward who meets the requirements requested by Pablo Bengoechea and, above all, fits into the club's budget. Currently, Bernardo Cuesta is not considered an indisputable starter in Junior de Barranquilla. However, Alianza Lima has been in contact with his representative to inquire about the contractual situation of the Argentinean footballer. In fact, the former Melgar player belongs to the Colombian team and his return would only be possible through a loan. Are Alianza Lima able to pay for it?

Bernardo Cuesta was excluded from the match between Junior and Deportivo Cali. That's not all: the striker joined the concentration in the last hours for the away match against Jaguares, which will take place this Sunday. Isn't he a priority?

Depor has found out that Bernardo Cuesta is not comfortable with his stay in Junior, but coach Julio Cosmesaña has asked him to stay until the end of the year, due to the interest of several clubs in signing him, especially in the Peruvian market.

"The player has offers from Peru, but he told us that he will stay to fight for his position. The conversation with the coach was decisive. Although he had few chances, the fans appreciate him a lot and ask for him," a source from Junior told us.
