Pablo Bengoechea, technical director of Alianza Lima, confirmed the severity of the injuries.

Confirmed. Alianza Lima won't be able to count on Óscar Vílchez and Kevin Quevedo for the match against Sport Huancayo. Both players have been ruled out by the coach, Pablo Bengoechea.

Vílchez and Quevedo didn't even play 20 minutes against Unión Comercio. In fact, 'Neka' received help from his teammates to leave the IPD stadium in Nueva Cajamarca because he couldn't walk due to a foot injury.

"They won't be taken into account. The doctor informed us that they won't be available this weekend. Now we have to see how they recover for the future," said the Alianza Lima coach in a press conference.

After finishing the match against Unión Comercio, Hugo Blácido, the team's doctor, gave an initial diagnosis and it wasn't encouraging.

"Kevin Quevedo jumped and landed badly with an ankle twist. It's a sprain that could be first or second degree. Óscar Vílchez had an injury in the arch of his foot. It's possible that he's causing an injury to the plantar fascia," informed Alianza Lima's physician to América TV.
