Peruvian Volleyball Team Wins 3-0 Against Colombia

The Peruvian national volleyball team continues to show their strength. This Saturday, they defeated Colombia with a convincing 3-0 score in the first phase of matches of the second day of the World Grand Prix Series 2, held at the closed coliseum in Chiclayo. The national team won with a score of 25-15, 25-21, and 26-24.

Coached by Luizomar de Moura, the team demonstrated great strength in both attack and defense, overpowering the Colombian team with a 3-0 victory. This is their second consecutive win. Ángela Leyva was the top scorer with 24 points, followed by Carla Rueda with 14 points.

Although the last set was tough as Colombia fought to prevail, the Peruvian team managed to recover in time. Their next match is against the powerful squad from the Czech Republic, who are coming off a victory against Puerto Rico. The match will take place this Sunday starting at 6:05 p.m, as always, on Panamericana Televisión.
