Langil had just entered the field as a substitute for Jean Manuel Nedra, who had received a yellow card in the first half.

Once again Parsemian, the best player in the history of Martinique, made the difference in the offensive game of the Caribbean island, and his goal was decisive.

Martinique, who achieved their third victory in the tournament they are participating for the fifth time in their history, the first since 2009, was always superior in physical power, technique and positioning on the field compared to the Nicaraguan national team that fought, but did not generate dangerous actions.

Nicaragua, participating for the second time in the tournament, has as its main goal to achieve at least one point or their first victory, something that becomes complicated with the next opponents Panama and the United States.

Their great chance to achieve something positive was against Martinique and they missed the opportunity against a superior opponent.
