On March 23, 2011, at the San Martín Stadium, France beat Peru 3-0. Florian Leseune opened the scoring for the Europeans, and Alexandre Lacazette increased the score with a right shot against Carlos Cáceda, as seen on YouTube.
Cedric Bakambu sealed the victory against the 'Blanquirroja', who were led by Jaime Duarte and were coming off a terrible campaign in the South American Championship, with Gustavo Ferrín as coach.
That day, Peru lined up with Carlos Cáceda; Pedro Requena, Carlos Ascues, Enrique Rodríguez (Bosmediano), Alexander Callens (José Granda); Diego Donayre (Wilyan Mimbela), Tarek Carranza, Ángel Ojeda (Benjamín Ubierna), Jorge Bazán; Osnar Noronha (Deyair Reyes), Cruz (Joyce Conde).
The second match was held at Videna de Chincha, two days later. France won again, this time by 2-1. The only goal for Peru was scored by Tarek Carranza.
