"The goalkeeper of Sporting Cristal, Mauricio Viana, has been sanctioned by the Judicial Commission of the Professional Football Association (CJ-ADFP) with a one-match suspension. The commission considered justified the complaint made by Ayacucho FC, the club that expressed a discrepancy against the Arbitration Report of the match between Sporting Cristal and Ayacucho FC, played on Sunday, July 2, 2017, for the seventh round of the Opening Tournament. It is worth mentioning that Sporting Cristal will face Deportivo Municipal in the eighth round of the Opening Tournament, and it will be in this match that goalkeeper Mauricio Viana will be suspended. Furthermore, this game will be the most attractive of the eighth round of the tournament; if the 'edil' team wins, they would still have a chance to the title, while if Sporting Cristal gets the three points, the standings would become more fought than ever
