Each start of the season is a new opportunity to start doing things right. And nobody knows it better than Percy Prado, the young Peruvian midfielder who in 2017-18, and with the arrival of Claudio Ranieri to Nantes, hopes to finally make his debut in the first team.
In an interview with the Peruvian portal 'Zona Fútbol', the current Nantes II player expressed enthusiasm for the possibility of minutes in the new project of the former Leicester coach.
"The arrival of a coach of his caliber is extraordinary for a club like Nantes, which is in a rebuilding period. Ranieri will bring all his experience; we'll see who he's going to bring and if he will bet on young players. I hope to have the opportunity to play in the first team," said Percy Prado.

On other topics, the Nantes II midfielder confessed to being a fan of Universitario de Deportes and talked about the possibility of playing for the Peruvian national team.
"In my father's family, they are all fans of Universitario de Deportes. So I also follow the results of this team; that's why I can say that I'm a fan of 'U'," he said. "Peru or France? I haven't thought much about that possibility, but I think I would choose the Peruvian national team."
