"The guy cursed at me. He was a racist person. I had injured my knee and hadn't played for eight months. I came in for only ten minutes because it was the second game after recovering from the injury. That person started insulting me because of my race. He cursed at me a lot. I was very angry, so I did that (throwing an object at him)," said Paolo Guerrero in an interview with the portal "Globoesporte".

Regarding that episode that marked his career, Paolo Guerrero explained that he now feels much more mature. It should be noted that he was only 17 years old when he arrived in Germany.

"I was younger. Everything was new to me. I arrived very young at Bayern Munich. Now I'm 33 years old, I have matured a lot. There is also a big difference on the field, I feel more experienced. But, I'm still the same. Now, I try to have more fun with my teammates," he added.
