Alejandro Domínguez, in his role as president of Conmebol, revealed on Wednesday, October 4, through his social networks that Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay will be the host countries for the opening of the 2030 World Cup. Likewise, Claudio Tapia, the leader of AFA, joined the celebration for having Argentinean territory as one of the inauguration venues for the prestigious tournament.
"We believed big. The Centennial World Cup 2030 begins where everything started. Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay will be the venues for the inaugural matches of the #MundialCentenario," Domínguez posted on his X account, previously known as Twitter.
