Roberto Ovelar and Edgar Benítez are these two players. Both played in the 2022 season for Deportivo Municipal and Alianza Lima, respectively, but neither stayed in our league, despite their regular performances.
Despite that, fate brought both players together at General Caballero in the First Division of their country, where they not only train together but also share rooms during the club's concentrations.

Ovelar played 28 matches in 2022 with the 'edil' shirt, scoring 11 goals and providing 8 assists. On the other hand, Benítez participated in 19 games between the Liga 1 and the Copa Libertadores, scoring two goals and providing the same number of assists.
Ovelar and Benítez played finals with Alianza Lima
Both Roberto Ovelar and Edgar Benítez played the decisive match to become champions with Alianza Lima. The 'Búfalo' did so in 2011, but they succumbed to Juan Aurich on penalties. The 'Pájaro', on the other hand, was able to celebrate the 2021 title by defeating Cristal in two matches.
