Defensa y Justicia defeats Sportivo Luqueño in the first leg

Defensa y Justicia, who shared the group with Olimpia in the Copa Libertadores, but like the Decano, did not survive, defeated Sportivo Luqueño 2-1 on Wednesday in the first leg of the Copa Sudamericana second phase.

After the defeat in Villa Elisa, where they played at home, Carlos Humberto Paredes first praised the weight of the opponent and then lamented Aldo Vera's own goal and the late reaction of the team.
