Olimpia officialized on Monday morning that Daniel Garnero has ceased to be the head coach of the main team. He had a contract until the end of December 2021.
The Para Uno entity thanked the Argentine professional for his stay during these almost three seasons in which he led the national King of Cups to the top on four consecutive occasions.
"Almost 3 years of working together have passed, of weathering storms, of victories, of endless laps of honor," said the franjeado president in part of his farewell message.
The former Sol de América and Guaraní in Paraguayan football directed a total of 139 matches for the first team of Franjeado, winning 88 games, drawing 35, and losing 16 matches.
He also achieved the record for points in a year (108) with a total of 33 victories and nine draws. However, the numbers fell short for the franjeada leadership due to the continuous failures in the continental field.
