Paraguayan goalkeeper Gerardo Ortiz called up for national team

The 31-year-old Paraguayan goalkeeper, currently playing for Once Caldas in Colombia, has been called up by Eduardo Berizzo for the Paraguayan National Team for the first set of Eliminatorias.

The former Olimpia and Sol de América goalkeeper joins Roberto Junior Fernández and Antony Silva as the goalkeepers for the national team.

Paraguay will host Peru on Thursday, October 8th at the Defensores del Chaco stadium at 19:30. They will also visit Venezuela on Tuesday, October 13th at 18:30, for the first set of South American Eliminatorias towards the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
