Latest COVID-19 Case Detected in Paraguayan Football
The Medical Commission of the Paraguayan Football Association announced this Wednesday that, after the latest routine tests, a new positive case has been detected within national football, this time in Sportivo Luqueño.
According to the statement, the individual is already in quarantine, and the rest of the players will undergo new tests to rule out other infections.
Paraguayan football is going through a delicate moment, right in the final stretch of the Apertura tournament. The outbreak of cases in Nacional, where confirmed cases exceed twenty, has been a hard blow.
The Medical Commission of the Paraguayan Football Association reports that after the latest sampling carried out on the Sportivo Luqueño team, a positive case of COVID-19 has been detected, who is already in quarantine. Later this afternoon, the other members will undergo new testing.
