But when I returned and started feeling better physically, that idea was put aside.

There are moments, football is very changing, it happened when we were returning from quarantine, there I saw it much closer (retirement), now I am feeling better and better, I enjoy it very much and it doesn't cross my mind. It is clear that it is in a corner of my mind where I don't think about it much, that idea has to mature and at some point it will come to all of us," Roque expressed about retirement, a tough step that a professional footballer must take.

He added: "I think it is very difficult to know when it will end, they are revelations, moments and flashes that show you when cycles end, one must have the courage to do it, situations that are not easy, you have to have the maturity to face them. Each game is enjoyed as if it were the last," highlighted the forward.

Asked about what Olimpia means in his life, Roque was clear: "It is my home, it is a feeling, I love it, I love what I do, I love football and above all I love playing for Olimpia. Everything that the club means, the responsibilities that come with it, for me playing like this is a pride, a satisfaction and a huge blessing."

AFFECTION. When he decides to take the step, Roque wants to be remembered in one way: "The affection I have for the people is great, they always take a piece of me with them, every person who approaches me to take a photo or ask for an autograph. It is a moment that we will all experience (retirement), we hope it comes to us with the utmost dignity possible, that it catches us at a time when people will miss us and recognize us for what we gave to a club."
