Olimpia prepares all its artillery to go in search of victory in Brazil, when it faces Santos on Tuesday at 20.30, in matchday 4 of Group G of the Conmebol Libertadores.
Regarding this, Miguel Brunotte, Olimpia's treasurer, stated that the Decano will show another version. "There will be a different version of Olimpia compared to what was seen in the clasico," he said in a conversation with FALG. "It is a crucial match for us," he added.
About Olimpia's current situation in the Apertura tournament, Brunotte was honest. "For Olimpia, it is always a failure not to be champion. Cerro Porteno returned very well after the break and I find it difficult for them to lose the title," he said.
He also clarified that there are no negotiations for Uruguayan goalkeeper Martin Campaña from Independiente. "There is absolutely nothing for Martin Campaña. Olimpia is seen as a serious club and we receive 3 to 4 player profiles weekly," he detailed.
Finally, he explained that in the Clausura tournament they will seek the title to secure a spot in next year's Libertadores. "We want to win the Clausura to be in the group stage of the Copa. Being in the Libertadores is an important income economically," he concluded.
