COVID-19 Case in Nacional Football Team

The Medical Commission of the Paraguayan Football Association (APF) reported that laboratory tests on the contacts of the positive COVID-19 case in the Nacional team yielded a positive result.

The APF further stated in a press release on Thursday night that the referred player is already in quarantine, isolated from his teammates.

Roberto Torres' team will play against Olimpia on Saturday, September 5, at 20:00 in the Manuel Ferreira stadium for the 18th round of the 2020 Apertura.

NEGATIVE.

In contrast, the tests conducted on the contacts of the positive case in the 12 de Octubre team yielded negative results. The affected member continues in quarantine.

Mario Jara's team is preparing to play against River Plate on Friday, September 4, at 17:00 in the Luis Salinas stadium in Itauguá.
