Pablo Zeballos comments on the false positives that caused the postponement of Paraguayan football
Pablo Zeballos shared his opinion regarding the false positives that led to the postponement of Paraguayan football restart last Friday.
"It was a catastrophic 72 hours for us and our families," Zeballos began saying in a conversation with Fútbol a lo Grande.
Regarding what happened with the Itaugüe team and the false positives, Zeballos insisted on finding those responsible. "We want to find answers to all the questions we have," he said.
"We don't doubt the tests, it's just good to have other options to avoid any doubts, because there were doubts about the public tests," he added.
The 12 de Octubre team repeated the tests again on Monday morning, excluding the 3 players who tested positive in the second test approved by the APF. "These 3 teammates will take the test this afternoon at a private laboratory," he announced.

The game on Thursday against Sol de América is likely to be postponed because Mario Jara's team hasn't been training due to this situation. "We believe that if the tests come back negative again, we will return to training tomorrow," mentioned PZ.

Finally, Zeballos spoke on behalf of his teammates by saying that they don't feel supported by the president of 12 de Octubre, Édgar Monges. "We are in constant contact with him, and the whole group thinks that the club should take a stand and find those responsible for everything that happened," he concluded.
