Now the request came directly from the APF, through doctor Gerardo Brunstein, chief medical officer of the institution:
"Players who have already been tested should not leave, otherwise the results will be worthless. We cannot repeat the tests due to their irresponsibility," he argued in a conversation with radio media.
He reiterated that from now on, each doctor from the different clubs will be responsible for the strict compliance with the health protocol by the players and their close contacts, totaling 45 people per club.
With the first batch of negative results in Olimpia, Libertad, and Sol de América, Brunstein confirmed that all the initial studies will be notified, and only positive cases will be communicated thereafter.
Yesterday, the teams of General Díaz, Sportivo Luqueño, and Guaraní underwent the swab tests.
Regarding the health protocol, which has already been submitted to the Ministry of Health and the National Sports Secretary, it has not yet received final approval from the public institutions, so we must wait for that approval to continue with the plan to return to football.
