Miguel Figueredo, president of Sol de América, along with his counterpart from Olimpia, Marco Trovato, are the leaders who openly and publicly express the desire to activate football in our country.
"We want football to return as soon as possible, as long as we take care of all the requirements or mitigation measures suggested by the Ministry and the APF protocol, in an environment of responsibility and discipline," said the single-color president on Wednesday.

"The wait has been long, the measures taken were timely, in terms of contagion, the curve is flat, I would say that we would be able to return with those precautions that must be taken," he said in an interview with Fútbol a lo Grande on Radio Monumental.
For this, the Sol de América executive proposed "having a good talk with the entire team, making them aware of the importance of following the protocol recommendations and emphasizing the professionalism they must have."
CORRECTION. Asked if they would present a tentative date to the Executive Council of the Paraguayan Football Association from the offices of the Villa Elisa club, Figueredo referred to the fact that before that, what he called a "political-legal issue of the protocol" must be resolved.
"Before thinking about a start date, we have to solve the political-legal issue, as I would call it, that in case there is a contagion, only that player, that assistant coach, whoever it may be, should be isolated," he explained in this regard.
Finally, he pointed out that they continue to work on the final adaptation of the Luis Alfonso Giagni stadium to the sanitary measures dictated by the APF's Field Commission, despite the fact that the authorities showed their satisfaction and even surprise at the implementation of these measures at the time of the review that took place last Monday.
