Cerro Porteño striker talks about salary situation
The Azulgrana offensive player exposed his thoughts on the group's unpaid salaries issue, stating: "So far we are not discussing with the board."
Ruiz is currently training in the city of Altos: "I'm in Altos and here the situation is less noticeable, I spend all day at home, training with the routines provided by the professionals, and then I spend time playing with my children, Sofia and Oscar Nicolas."
The forward emphasized that the absence of football affects him: "The truth is that I miss playing a lot, but health comes first, the rest can wait."
Ruiz has been tempted several times to move abroad, as he recalled on 780 AM: "There were inquiries from Mexican and Brazilian football, but Cerro Porteño did not accept the loan."
Ruiz has played 120 matches with Cerro Porteño's jersey since the 2017 season, both in the local tournament and in the international field. The Kure'i has scored 30 goals: 2 in the Libertadores, 1 in the Sudamericana, and 27 between the Apertura and Clausura.
