The Blue Entity: From Barrio Obrero to Villa Elisa

The blue entity decided one day to partially distance itself from the populous Barrio Obrero to search for more space. Also, to avoid the shadow and the great noise that Cerro Porteño emanates, one of the many clubs that concentrate on Fifth Avenue, which the blue and red fans make their own by exclusivity and call it "Capital of the Feeling".

Destiny led them to the peaceful city of Villa Elisa. Of course, with less modernity when that move took place in 1985, but located only a few kilometers from its central headquarters, which is still functioning adjacent to the blue and red entity, in that trench of passions that they share with teams like Nacional and Atlántida.

Sol left a big part of its heart in the neighborhood where it was born and raised: its social headquarters, swimming pool, school, and an open padlocked stadium, which fills its followers with pride, since basketball players have won many titles and the men have achieved great feats in football.

In their new domicile, professional and youth football is breathed. This way, the Luis Alfonso Giagni stadium feels the sporting growth of the team every season, qualifying consecutively for international cups. The football achievement, in turn, makes the local population begin to hold affection and loyalty towards the club, pushing it towards its third national title.

In addition, their organized administration in recent years allows them to be considered a model club in Paraguayan football, one that is capable of training and selling players, as well as bringing in quality reinforcements like Sebastián Abreu, and serving as a springboard to relaunch national athletes.
