In the midst of the global health crisis caused by the coronavirus, the Cyclone shakes the environment with a giant gesture of solidarity.

Cerro Porteño is not alien to the reality that affects us with the Coronavirus Pandemic and this Thursday the institution made a gesture of greatness. The Blue and Red offer their facilities in case the health crisis worsens.

In a statement published on social media, the team from Barrio Obrero confirmed that if the health emergency requires it, they will make their facilities available to the Ministry of Health and the National Government.

In case it is necessary, Cerro Porteño offers the facilities of Club del Pueblo to the Ministry of Health, to be used in the event of a health emergency due to #COVID19.

Paraguay has adopted strong preventive measures to avoid the spread of the coronavirus in the country. Currently, there are 13 confirmed cases, the lowest rate compared to neighboring countries. However, in order to keep the number low, it is vital that the population strictly follow sanitary recommendations such as hand washing and social isolation, among others.
