Club Olimpia President, Marco Trovato, talks about rumors regarding Miguel Samudio's playing time

In an interview with D10, Marco Trovato, president of Club Olimpia, addressed the circulating rumors regarding the lack of playing time for left-back Miguel Samudio in the first team.

Over the past few hours, rumors have been circulating on social media suggesting that Samudio is not playing for Olimpia supposedly because he "fabricated" an injury before the match against Libertad on Matchday 2 of the Apertura, and due to a disagreement with club president Marco Trovato.

On Tuesday, the player himself denied these claims, stating that he has no problems with anyone and that it is solely a technical decision made by the coach Daniel Garnero.

Meanwhile, the president of Olimpia, in conversation with this media outlet, stated that it is a dirty play and sent a message. "They should stop trying to destabilize us and win on the field", he said.

Samudio's last match with the club was last year. He has not had any playing time this season.
